You know very well that this general job title simply doesn’t cut it to get a clear view on what you are going to accelerate in, so surely you must be curious about the ins and outs.  Together with Nienke (your colleague business partner) you are responsible for supporting the business in running daily operations, developing the organization, culture and acting as the first HR contact point for our colleagues and team leads within Effectory.  This starts the moment someone takes the first step in our office for our professionally executed onboarding program until they leave the company. During their career within Effectory you provide advise for legal, health, performance and renumeration issues and you coach on training & development needs, job crafting and our internal growth policy.

Within Effectory we are taking the next step in our strategic People & Culture team. Together with Nienke you are responsible for further growth of the People Business Partner role and bring this to the next level of support linked to our business. You will coach and educate the team leads pro-actively on HR topics and make sure that the still self-organized teams are aligned. You will experience a high level of independence and it’s up to you and your colleague business partner to take the zillion opportunities to make a difference!

Being successful in this role requires close contact with the teams (of which some have team leads) & leadership team to come to wise advice and decisions that balance both the company’s as well as the employees’ interest. In our beautiful Amsterdam canal office, you are joined by your People & Culture teamies in realizing just this: to make Effectory a once in a lifetime employer!

You will work in our People & Culture Team with a Strategy & Change Manager, three Recruiters, two People Operations Specialists (1 in Amsterdam and 1 in Munich), a Business Partner and a People & Culture Lead.

Besides that:

  • You have worked in a similar HR role (Business Partner, HR Advisor, HR Manager) for 5 till 10 years.
  • You have experience in being a sparring partner for leads/managers, process optimalization and organizational changes.
  • You have excellent knowledge of Dutch employment law.
  • Your stakeholders appreciate you for your warm hearted and result driven character, always wanting to make impact and in for a good laugh.
  • You speak fluent English (Dutch & German are a plus!)
  • You are available for 32-40 hours per week, preferably starting 1st of October.
  • Last but not least, you truly know the importance of feedback, because for us, it means the world.
