Job description

“You guard the vision of the product and make sure that, what the team is working on, is relevant and useful”

-Please note: for this position it is required that you are currently living in the Netherlands-

THIS IS YOUR JOB

As a Product Owner at Effectory your main responsibilities are to coordinate the development process and to develop further the concept and functionalities of the product. Our development department has over 20 highly skilled Software Developers working on innovative software solutions on a daily basis. Together with the Product Managers you translate the long term product strategy to user stories and epics. You guard the vision of the product and make sure that, what the team is working on, is relevant and useful.

You are the person that helps the team specify and prioritize things that need to be done and estimate the proper workload for the sprints. You control the backlog and keep an eye on the interests of our stakeholders. When work is done you are responsible for defining if it meets our standards and accepting it.

You gather requirements and make sure that the team delivers features that answers to the client's (or company's) needs. To make sure that progress is made often you have to 'say no' to stakeholders to guard the workload and priorities.

Basically you make sure that the Developers are building on a coherent product that fits in the long term strategy and that connects with the clients needs.
