As our copywriter you’ll be creating and driving an engaging and effective content strategy for the Effectory Listening software. You’ll be working on a platform of feedback solutions that companies use to listen, to learn and to create a change. In daily practice this means they can set up surveys, learn from the insights and use those as a catalyst for a better working environment. Our clients range from 500 to 500.000 employees.

Our software is used in a wide range of workplaces; from offices to factory floors and offshore wind farms. Our products are used by more than 2 million users per year with different roles, goals, and walks of life. Engaging users, showing the right content to the right person (role-based) and at the right time is extremely important. This will be your main focus.

As our copywriter, you'll be part of Effectory's Product & Tech Team, which is responsible for creating the future of feedback and making the means to listening available and fun for all. You will work closely with our UX/UI designers, localization coordinator, product owners and development Team, getting vision and focus from our CPO and CTO.


Tasks & responsibilities

  • Write clear and compelling copy to support a great user journey through our products and software.
  • Manage the content and copy of our multilingual software
  • Creating text for online solution manuals and software copy
  • Work with designers on interactive copy for the SaaS-designs
  • Ensure all content we produce is true to the product and consistent with our brand
  • Conduct research to identify strong and weak points in our content strategy
  • Update product descriptions as needed (both on our website and other online resources)
  • Create and manage copy for our online help center


  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Copywriter, preferably in SaaS domains and have a proven track record in creating compelling copy for software (we would love to see your portfolio) based on diverse user needs.
  • You know the importance of context, the right tone-of-voice and placement (does the text fit the screen).
  • It goes without saying that you have excellent writing and proofreading skills.
  • You are working on multiple domains and features at the same time with different deadlines, so it is important that you’re able to prioritize and manage your time well. We work in an OKR-driven environment, which will frame your priorities.
  • You speak and write English and Dutch at a (near) native level (other additional languages would be a definite plus).
  • We have no managers at Effectory and your high level of self-support, sense of responsibility, initiative, and collaborative spirit make you a perfect match for us.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages and international mind-set are definitely a plus.
  • High learning ability and interest in how our platform works to quickly adapt to our changing systems & software. You keep yourself well informed on vision and developments.
  • Available for at least 32 hours a week
