Finance Operations Specialist

THIS IS YOUR JOB 

In this position you are responsible for all sorts of financial administrative tasks and you are the point of contact for the 1st-line (financial related) questions for the employees of Effectory.

You work with Effectorys finance team checking and processing purchase and sales invoices and you support month-end closing. Whenever there is an audit, you help with preparing for this and making sure that everything runes smoothly. Besides that, you are also responsible for the debtors and creditors management.  

Whenever the management has questions you make sure to help them with providing them with the required management information. Handling declarations of Effectory's employees is also part of your duties. You also support your colleagues in purchasing processes by comparing suppliers and eventually negotiating for the best price. Your Tasks

• Own the order management process - Daily creation of orders based on subscription contracts of customers (25%)

• Ensure smooth integration of commercial to finance system (5%)

• Deferred Revenue checks and reconciliations (5%)

• Daily invoicing to customers based on the orders created. (20%)

• Resolving of service desk tickets relating to general administration and finance. (5%)

• Processing of supplier invoices. (5%)

• Month-end closing activities (Creation of assets, depreciation journal journals, payroll journals, accruals, prepayments and other balance sheet reconciliations as well as P&L analysis). (10%)

• Updating cash flow forecasts. (5%)

• Cash collection - call and follow up from outstanding customers (20%)

• You have followed a finance related studies and have an affinity with numbers.

• You are skilled with Excel and preferably Exact Online.

• You have the ambition to grow in a career in finance.

• You are responsible, accurate, punctual, a strong communicator and someone who is solution driven

• Fluent In English
